EXPLORE THE COURSE

Explore the course
This delightful 9-hole parkland course has been considerably extended in recent years and consists of seven par 4s and two par 3s. For gentlemen, the par is 68 and standard scratch is 67, and for ladies it is a testing 70. The layout provides an excellent challenge for golfers of all abilities. There are a few slopes to negotiate but you are rewarded with some truly magnificent views along the Urr valley, north to Cairnsmore of Fleet and south to Kippford and the Lake District hills. The course is a haven for wildlife - birds of prey fly overhead, deer are often seen and woodland song birds abound in the adjacent Rounall Wood. Visitors will enjoy great golf and great scenery which members enjoy on a regular basis. Become a member - Find out more!

Notable Holes
The 4th which is a 363 yard par 4 is memorable for many and varied reasons. With out of bounds to the left and restrictions to the right - a good straight drive is required to the corner of the course where a right angle dogleg is negotiated for a pitch to a smallish green. If you escape with a par here - you can count your blessings and continue on your way in the knowledge that you will have another chance to ‘have a go at it’ in your second round.

Other Features
In addition to the main 9-hole course, we offer a practice area and putting green for the convenience of members and visitors. Buggy hire is available on request.
